Introduction

Welcome to Freebly. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website design, development and hosting services. By applying for or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

Freebly is a trading name of Staunton Rook Limited, registered in England and Wales.

Our Services

Freebly provides custom website design and development at no upfront cost to approved applicants, subject to these Terms. Although the website build is provided free of charge, the included free website scope is limited to a brochure website of up to five pages with one contact form integration. Our service includes:

Additional pages, advanced functionality, interactive features, third party integrations, bespoke tools, ecommerce, booking systems or other work outside this included scope are not included in the free website build.

Any additional work will be quoted and charged separately on a site-by-site basis. A quote will be provided for your approval before any chargeable additional work is carried out.

All services are provided subject to an active monthly hosting subscription following the expiry of the free trial period.

Application and Approval

All applications are reviewed at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to decline any application without providing a reason. Acceptance of your application does not constitute a guarantee of any particular design outcome or timeline.

Onboarding and Free Trial

Following acceptance of your application, you will be invited to complete an onboarding call with the Freebly team. Your 10-day free trial begins immediately upon completion of this onboarding call.

Important

The trial period begins at the point of onboarding, not at the point of website launch or approval. If you do not cancel before the end of the 10-day trial period, your paid monthly hosting subscription will begin automatically and your first payment will be taken immediately.

Hosting Subscription

Following the expiry of the free trial, a monthly hosting subscription is required to keep your website live and operational.

Hosting is charged at £29.99 per month, billed monthly in advance. Your subscription is on a 30-day rolling basis with no minimum contract term. You may cancel at any time by giving 30 days written notice to team@freebly.co.uk.

Website Ownership and Hosting

Please read this section carefully

Your website is designed, built and hosted entirely on Freebly's infrastructure. The website code, design files, templates and technical environment remain the intellectual property of Freebly at all times. You are granted a licence to use and operate your website for as long as your hosting subscription remains active.

You may not:

If you wish to move to a different website provider in the future, you would need to commission a new website independently. Freebly does not provide website exports, file transfers or code handovers under any circumstances.

Your website content, including text, images and other media that you have provided, remains your property at all times.

Post-Launch Amendments

Any changes, updates or amendments requested from Freebly after your website has launched are not included within your monthly hosting subscription and will be quoted and charged separately.

This includes but is not limited to changes to design, layout, copy, imagery, page structure, functionality, interactive features, additional pages, additional integrations, bespoke tools, ecommerce or booking functionality.

All additional work is quoted on a site-by-site basis. Freebly will provide a quote for your approval before completing any chargeable additional work.

Freebly reserves the right to update your website's technical infrastructure or hosting environment at any time to ensure continued performance and security. Such updates do not constitute a chargeable amendment.

Domain Names

You are responsible for the purchase, renewal and management of your domain name. Freebly will connect your domain to your website as part of the setup process.

Freebly is not responsible for domain expiry, loss of domain, or issues arising from your domain registrar. If your domain lapses or expires, your website may become inaccessible until the issue is resolved.

Cancellation

You may cancel your hosting subscription at any time by providing 30 days written notice to team@freebly.co.uk. Upon cancellation:

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your service immediately in the event of non-payment, breach of these Terms, or misuse of our services.

All payments made after your free trial period has expired are non-refundable. This includes but is not limited to:

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use of our services following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
